Engagement ~ Jessica & Gene

I had so much fun Friday afternoon with Jessica & Gene. We met at Gasworks Park where he proposed to her (at the bench up on the hill!). They brought their sweet pup Bella and after we took a few photos with her, she had a blast chasing birds and rolling around in the grass. After hypothermia began to set in with us at the park, we headed down to the Seattle Public Library for some yummy hot coffee by Chocolati. Jess & Gene were such great sports - joy riding on book carts and smooching up on each other in front of the many onlookers. I really like this couple & I’m so looking forward to their wedding. Here are a few of my favorites from the day…

Engagement session ~ Adrian & Ana

November 4, 2008 – 5:30 am

Adrian & Ana began their romance while working on a project at the Danny Woo International District Community Gardens so it was the perfect place to start our e-session last Sunday. After playing around the garden for awhile, we headed over to Gasworks - another favorite place for the couple - just in time to catch some sun breaking through the clouds. Adrian & Ana are having their reception next summer at the ‘bathhouse’ at Golden Gardens Beach so we headed down there to try and catch the sunset. The stormy skies didn’t allow for anymore sun, but it was fun to be in the skinny trees when they have no leaves - freezing, but fun! Thanks for a fun day Adrian & Ana - we’ll have more fun (and a lot more warmth) at the beach together next summer!

~Heather & Reid ~

Last Sunday, I met Heather & Reid for their engagement session at the University of Washington. Reid went to the UW, so we made sure that we took some of their photos near the Roberts Building (his old stomping grounds). Although a little nervous at first, this couple soon relaxed and were willing to be goofy with each other and to let the “PDA” flow freely! After a nice walk around campus, we headed over to Gasworks Park. The park was packed, but the day was SO gorgeous. As the sun began to set, I asked if we could make a run down to Golden Gardens to play with some flare….we got great flare and Heather & Reid are an awesome couple to work with - can’t wait ’till your wedding next year you guys!
