Leslie & Bryan ~ Hotel Monte Cristo

Gale force winds and pouring rain did not stop the warmth and fun times at the Monte Cristo last Friday night.  I had a hard time picking just a few of my favorite photos from the evening.  Suffice it to say, the evening went fast, the lighting was tough, the formal pics were tougher, but I had a GREAT time.  Thanks for letting me be a part of your evening Leslie & Bryan - you throw one fabulous party.  To see the “photo booth” photos from the evening - click here - you can ‘right click’ to save your photo, compliments of the bride and groom!

I almost started crying when I saw that Leslie’s dad got choked up during their father/daughter dance…Monte Cristo Everett Wedding picture

They did the bouquet and garter toss, but not before the men serenaded Leslie ‘top gun style’ with “You’ve lost that lovin’ feeling” - I just love how clueless the little boys in the middle are!!Monte Cristo Everett Wedding pictureMonte Cristo Everett Wedding pictureMonte Cristo Everett Wedding picture

Then the dancing got underway while the awesome Jennifer got the photo booth going…Monte Cristo Everett Wedding pictureMonte Cristo Everett Wedding picture

There are a lot of sweet photos of Leslie’s parents from the evening, but I got so excited to see them on the dance floor having an absolute blast - it’s one of my favorite photos from the night.

Tashi & Eric ~ 2nd time is a charm…

Last Saturday was a GORGEOUS day in Everett and especially at the Everett Yacht Club.  Tashi & Eric were married in Pittsburgh just two months ago and this event was to celebrate their union with a traditional Tibetan white scarf ceremony and party to include all of their West coast family and friends.  Tashi handmade the chupa that she wore and her mother and father helped Eric put his on correctly.  The food, cake and sunset were amazing and after some lovely musical performances by family members, the dance floor got going.  Thanks to Jennifer for being an amazing assistant and thank you Tashi and Eric for including me in your 2nd special day.  I had a great time!

~ Catherine & Floyd ~

Yesterday was warm and beautiful, just like the energy at Catherine & Floyd’s lovely home in Everett. Family had flown in from around the country to witness their union. I love being at weddings where there is such a strong feeling of closeness amongst the family and guests and this was such a great group of folks! After their vows were exchanged, we moved outside to take a few family formals in their backyard then went in to have some yummy cake and to listen to some tender (and funny) toasts. Both Catherine & Floyd work for Boeing, so we then headed over to the Museum of Flight to capture the view of the runway and then headed down to the Mukilteo Lighthouse to cool down at the waterfront and to capture some romantic moments between the newlyweds. Huge thanks to Jennifer Wade for being an awesome assistant. Thank you for a great day Catherine & Floyd - I wish you nothing but the best!

Small & very sweet…

It was such a pleasure to photograph Rina and Don’s wedding in Everett yesterday. The event took place at the Van Valey House, a beautiful home that is perfect for cozy occasions with lots of little nooks and great furniture throughout. Guests and family flew in from a variety of places - as far away as Japan. The ceremony was officiated by Tiffani Mondares-Riggs - she was so kind and friendly! The sun came out for a moment after their vows, giving us some time to take a group photo, some formal portraits (where Don’s brother gave him a not so formal ‘wet willy’) and some additional photos of the bride and groom on the lawn. Everyone enjoyed a nice lunch and cakes (homemade by the groom himself) after and some wonderful socializing. Sadly, the bride’s mother has recently passed - Rina wore her mother’s ring on her necklace and her father had a photo of her tucked in his lapel.  She was mentioned many times throughout the day and was very missed.  This was a very sweet day enjoyed by all - thank you Rina and Don for including me in your day. Here are just some of my favorite moments from the day…
