Engagement ~ MaryLee & Derek

Monday, I met MaryLee & Derek down in Tacoma to wander the streets and enjoy the cool architecture that the area offers.  We went to Union Station and enjoyed a yummy cupcake (they let me taste the frosting!) across the street at Hello Cupcake.  The sunlight upstairs at Union Station was so gorgeous!  Then we headed down to the waterfront and spent some time on the train tracks.  When the train came by it totally scared me, but I managed to get a fun shot of MaryLee’s surprised face.  After spending a little time down by the water, we then headed up the hill to The Spar for some of their chips and ’special sauce’ - yummy!!  Thanks for a super fun day you guys - here are a few of my favorites from the day…

You have really captured the magic of this couple! How nice to see such love expressed in their smiles and your pics. There is great whimsey on the bicycle and at Hello Cupcake, then at an everyday street scene, taking time for a kiss. The Chihuly chandelier shows the fragility of life and love and the sunshine kiss reassures that it will continue. The pastel on the traintracks is my favorite. You have captured it all! Can’t wait to meet you at the wedding and also to see more of your work. Toni
